Kathryn, as lead consultant, will assess the challenges and changes facing your school and work with you each step of the way for a smooth transition. Kathryn has extensive knowledge in real estate challenges, governance or sponsorship changes, crisis communication, transition communication, stakeholder communication, enrollment during transitions, and more. In addition, she has a team of specialists in specific areas who can assist as needed.

Building Organizational Resilience is a research-based program that assesses your organization’s resilience in areas such as community, core values, collaborations, competition, creativity, communication, and more. Assessments, tools, exercises, and homework are all part of the creative and strategic thinking needed to plan for the inevitable and unpredictable and to make sure your school or organization has the resilience to continue to thrive.
Building Organizational Resilience is offered as a lecture or workshop for a variety of schools/organizations or individual groups.
Building Organizational Resilience is offered as a 3-month commitment with multiple assessments, planning, meetings, coaching, and deliverables to prepare for the future.
Building Organizational Resilience is offered as two-night retreat that includes team building and leadership training.

Ideally, the support begins 30 days before the start date but can also begin at any time. Using design thinking, strategic planning tools, and some practical tips gleaned from leaders over the years, we will work together to make sure that your new leader is equipped with the tools, mindset, a plan, support, and lots of practical resources to help them start out strong - ready for the marathon of leadership in your school or organization.

How do we help our faculty, staff, parents, and students build up resilience? Everyone will face a challenge, a change, or even a crisis at some point. This workshop helps specific groups normalize the predictability of the need for resilience and provides background and tools for self-resilience as well as helping students and children with their resilience. Topics include core values, empathy, reality versus the story, mindset, self care, and strengths.
Designed for the workplace, this program challenges team members to get out of their comfort zones and explore new ways of thinking. Whether writing a new mission statement, adding a division, grade or department; wondering about additional revenue streams, or preparing for a new Head of School, this workshop will help. Using design principles and strategic planning tools, this program sets the groundwork for change.
